Make Your Baha’i Community Part of the Conversation
Social Media is an extremely powerful tool to connect with the people in your city, both Baha’is and people in the wider community. However, social media is not a “set it and forget it” sort of tool. It requires an effective strategy and the willingness to stick it out for the long run. Simply creating a Facebook fan page and only checking in every month or two is not going to help build trust and awareness in your city.
There are two options for social media marketing; it’s possible your Baha’i community may not need both.
We’ll help you create a Facebook Fan Page (and if needed, a Twitter account) so you can effectively communicate with the majority of the population that frequently uses social networks. By posting new and unique content that will intrigue and inform both Baha’is and the wider community, you will place yourself solidly in people’s conversations. When people are engaged with your ideas, they’re much more likely to participate in your core activities and identify the Baha’i vision as being relevant to the world’s issues today.
Have you ever wished that you could promote Core Activities, Holy Days, and Baha’i celebrations of Race Unity Day/MLK Jr. Day to just the people that would be most likely to join you and participate? With Facebook paid advertising, we can help you do just that. We’ll work with you to create ads that appear on the pages of Facebook users that belong to a demographic group that you’ve identified as being receptive to Core Activities. For example, if you are looking for female youth in your town between the ages of 18–24 who might be interested in serving their neighborhood as Junior Youth Animators, you can narrowly target just that group. The possibilities for PPC advertising on Facebook are practically endless.
Every community is different, so we need to know a lot more about you and the context of your city so that we can really tell your story properly. For each project, we require a consultation either in person or via Skype before we begin.
